New controls for collaboration: Try out permissions, passwords & expirations!

A few weeks ago, we announced the release of some highly requested features — view-only permissions for shared folders, passwords for shared links, and expirations for shared links — to our Dropbox for Business early access program.

Today, we’re happy to announce that these features are now available to all Dropbox for Business teams — giving users more control over their files, whenever and however they collaborate.

Customers in our early access program have already found that these new controls have significantly improved their workflows. Geoff Stevens, IT Technical Analyst & Network/Systems Administrator at Suntory, says, "Dropbox for Business has increased our team's productivity and efficiency dramatically. With view-only permissions for shared folders, we can easily provide our entire sales teams with the latest tools while giving only a few people the ability to make edits. We’re working together better than ever."

That’s not all though; we have even more exciting changes up our sleeves. You can learn more about upcoming early access features here.
