Dropbox Hack Week is an event where Dropboxers get back to their roots and explore their wildest, most innovative ideas. We're taking you behind the scenes to give you a sneak peek into how we hack.  Friday is the best day of Hack Week. Teams proudly share their work and are amazed by the work of others. At the end of Hack Week we recognize standout projects in different categories -- such as the product or feature that's closest to being ready to share with our users, the most artistically and creatively made, and one that makes Dropbox a better place to work. Friday is a great reminder that we get back to our roots to keep moving forward.
"Hack Week is about changing how people think. It's a week where we disregard gravity in an innovative celebration of our values. It's also an exploration of our abilities. We've seen Dropboxers build wildly ambitious projects in just five days. I've had my share of Hack Week projects over the past few years - getting to code projects like client notifications and read-only shared folders. But my first (and ongoing!) project is Dropbox itself." - Drew, Dropbox Co-Founder and CEO
