Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re expanding our strategic partnership with Salesforce to further streamline work and open up new ways for teams to collaborate across sales, service, marketing, commerce, and more.
We’ll be working with Salesforce to reimagine the work experience, building new solutions that remove the obstacles to getting work done. Our first two initiatives will help users boost productivity and stay in their flow:
Digital Asset Engagement
Catalogs, service manuals, and other creative materials play an important role in industries like retail and consumer packaged goods. With our upcoming integration, users of Dropbox and Salesforce will gain powerful tools for working with these and other digital assets. Our Digital Asset Engagement solution will let users create branded, personalized folders within Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud that can be accessed by both internal teams and external partners. With two-way workflows, users can maintain up-to-date content as they work in either Dropbox or Salesforce.
Dropbox + Quip
We’re also building a Quip integration that will help bring Dropbox to even more of the tools you use every day. With it, you’ll be able to access Dropbox content directly within Salesforce as well as store and work on Quip files in Dropbox. We’ll also be working with the Quip team to build a Dropbox Live App, which will allow you to access live-updating Dropbox files within Quip.
These new integrations are expected to begin rolling out later in 2018, joining the Dropbox for Salesforce app currently available on the Salesforce AppExchange. You can learn more about our partnerships with Google, Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, and Facebook by checking out our app integration posts.
