We know the world doesn’t stop just because you’re away from your computer. You still need to be able to quickly find and work on your most important files — whether it’s pulling up a travel itinerary, jotting down notes or ideas, or responding to a coworker who asks a question about one of your projects. In many situations, waiting until you’re back at your desk just isn’t an option. That’s why we’re excited about our latest iOS app update, rolling out today. We’ve added some new functionality that lets you quickly open up the files you were most recently working on, ask others for feedback, and create new files — all on your iPad or iPhone.
Our latest update to the Dropbox Android app brings with it an exciting new feature — a PDF viewer. That means you get rich previews and easy sharing for any PDF, regardless of whether or not it started in Dropbox. This app version also introduces in-document search, which means you can search for keywords within your files and go straight to those sections.
With the Dropbox mobile app, your most important files and photos are always at your fingertips. Today, we’re excited to bring that experience to millions more mobile users, through our new partnership with Vodafone.
Starting today, when you click on a Dropbox shared link from your mobile device, you can open the file or folder right in the Dropbox app — which means you get rich previews for documents and photos and an easy way to save the file or folder to your Dropbox account.
Today we’re excited to announce the next phase of our partnership with Microsoft: the Dropbox app is now available for Windows phones and tablets.
